President, began working part time in the trade in 1994 as a shop helper and in 1996 full time as an Apprentice Wireman with the NECA/IBEW joint apprenticeship program. After breaking out of the apprenticeship, Chris was a field Foreman for various projects for several years. In 2005, Chris became an Estimator/Project manager. During his time as an Estimator/Project Manager, he was heavily involved with Design/Build projects and large estimates of all types including commercial, industrial, hospitals and schools. Chris took on the responsibility of the corporate President in 2015. Chris currently Chairs the Pueblo Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, sits on the Negotiating Committee for NECA and the Southern Colorado Chapter NECA Board of Directors.
Vice President of Operations, began working in the trade in 1986 as an apprentice with the NECA/IBEW joint apprenticeship program. After working in the field for many years, Joe began working as a Foreman for Adams Electric. In 2003, Joe became field Superintendent, overseeing large hospital projects, and in 2009 he began Project Management and Estimating. In 2010, Joe received his LEED Green Associate accreditation. Joe currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and the Corporate Secretary and oversees all operations for all types of projects including health care facilities.
Estimator/Project Manager, began working in the trade in 1992 as an apprentice with the NECA/IBEW joint apprenticeship program. After working in the field as a Service Technician many years, Joe became the Service Manager for Adams Electric in 2008. In 2010, Joe became a project Superintendent and continued to run projects and do service work until he became the Project Coordinator in 2019. In 2021, Joe started Estimating and large Project Management.
Estimator/Project Manager, began at Adams Electric in 2017 and immediately entered into the NECA/IBEW joint apprenticeship program. In 2021, with current field experiences and his previous work experiences, Cory has taken on the role of leading the Pre-fab shop operations along with estimating all project types. Cory brings new vision and enthusiasm to our team.
Shop/tool manager, began at Adams Electric as a shop delivery person in 2001. After working in the shop for several years, Mike took charge of tool inventory and shop management. Mike currently manages several delivery people and tracks tools for our entire team.
Accounting Manager, began working at Adams Electric in 1999 as a receptionist. After working through the ranks, Gena moved into accounts receivable/accounts payable and payroll and then to her current position as Accounting Manager. Currently Gena oversees all day to day accounting operations in our front office.
Accounts Receivable/Service Dispatcher, began working at Adams Electric in 2020 as the Accounts Receivable clerk and also assists with Service Department Dispatch. Amanda has been a very strong addition to our team.
Accounts Payable, began working at Adams Electric in 2020 as the Accounts Payable clerk and also assists with Safety Documentation and some HR duties. Camae has been a very strong addition to our team and always has a smile on her face.

Founder/past President, began working in the trade in 1972 as an apprentice with the NECA/IBEW joint apprenticeship program. After extensive experience in all aspects of the trade, he managed an electrical company in Pueblo for nine years before starting Adams Electric Inc. in 1990. Marty served as the Corporation’s President from 1990 until his retirement in 2015. Marty was very active in NECA through the end of his career holding local Chapter board positions and sitting on various committees and he continued to hold a seat on the National Code of Ethics and Standards Committee for NECA until 2019 when he resigned to enjoy more of his retirement.
Past Vice President, began working in the trade in 1973 as an apprentice with the NECA/IBEW joint apprenticeship program. After many years gaining experience in the trade, Kerry became Chief Estimator and Project Manager for a large firm in Pueblo. In 1991 Kerry joined Marty at Adams Electric as the Chief Estimator and Vice President. Kerry was very active in NECA during his career holding local chapter board positions, working on the Manual Labor Units committee and participating in Chapter events. Kerry managed large projects and acted as Adams Electric’s corporate Vice President until his retirement in 2017.
